Description
This POP! Ride shows the masked hero seated behind the wheel of his signature vehicle from the 1974 Hong Kong Phooey animated show. In the series, Hong Kong Phooey is the crime-fighting alter ego of a mild-mannered character who steps in to stop trouble. The cartoon has stayed recognizable as a classic Hanna-Barbera-era superhero spoof.
The figure pairs Hong Kong Phooey with the Phooeymobile in a compact Rides display, numbered #29. He’s posed sitting upright with both hands on the steering wheel, wearing his black eye mask and an orange top, with long black ears hanging down either side of his head. The car is molded in green with rounded headlights, chunky black wheels, and a tall green-and-tan canopy structure rising behind him. Released in 2017, it’s presented as a standard boxed POP! Ride with no exclusive markings shown.
