Description
This POP! depicts Monk Sha from the Monkey King franchise, based on the 1978 show Monkey. In that series, he appears as one of the monk’s companions on the journey. The story is widely known across Asia through its long-running adaptations and retellings.
The figure shows him in a wide-legged stance, gripping a long pole weapon with a spade-like blade on one end and a crescent-shaped blade on the other. He has a gold-painted face with thick eyebrows, a moustache and small goatee, plus a full black beard framing the head. His outfit is mostly black with gold gloves, belt details, and a gold apron-like panel at the waist. This is Funko POP! #05 in standard POP! size, released in 2014 as a limited run of 888 pieces with a gold sticker on the packaging.
