#05 Vanellope with Candy Kart

Description

This Dorbz Ridez shows a chibi-style racer in a candy-themed kart, based on the film Wreck-It Ralph (2012). In Disneyโ€™s Wreck-It Ralph, Vanellope is a glitchy young racer from the arcade game Sugar Rush who becomes central to the story. The movie is widely known for its arcade-game setting and ensemble of game characters. Figure #05 depicts Vanellope seated in her Candy Kart with her eyes closed and hands up near her mouth, as if mid-giggle. She has black hair in a high ponytail tied with a large pink bow, with colorful candy-sprinkle pieces throughout, and she wears a teal hoodie. The kart is sculpted with frosting-like textures and sprinkle details across the hood, plus candy-styled wheels and side piping. Itโ€™s labeled as a Dorbz Ridez size from Funko DORBZ, released in 2016, with no exclusive markings shown. Disney Wreck-It Ralph franchise

Wreck-It Ralph Movie Poster

Wreck-It Ralph

Wreck-It Ralph is the 9-foot-tall, 643-pound villain of an arcade video game named Fix-It Felix Jr., in which the game's titular hero fixes buildings that Ralph destroys. Wanting to prove he can be a good guy and not just a villain, Ralph escapes his game and lands in Hero's Duty, a first-person shooter where he helps the game's hero battle against alien invaders. He later enters Sugar Rush, a kart racing game set on tracks made of candies, cookies and other sweets. There, Ralph meets Vanellope von Schweetz who has learned that her game is faced with a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph may have inadvertently started.
