#08 Fleegle with Buggy
Description
This Dorbz Ridez figure shows a smiling, floppy-eared character riding in a chunky green-and-yellow buggy with oversized yellow wheels. Fleegle comes from the 1968 TV show The Banana Splits Adventure Hour, where he appears as one of the costumed members of the Banana Splits group. The series has a lasting cult following as a piece of late-’60s kids’ television.
The figure is numbered #08 and presents Fleegle with closed, happy eyes, a black nose, and an orange smile line, topped with a small red-and-yellow hat. He wears a red checkered bow tie while seated behind the buggy’s flat yellow dash decorated with green shapes. The ride has four big wheels and rounded cutouts along the side, keeping the look toy-like and compact in the Dorbz Ridez size. This 2016 Funko DORBZ release was limited to 300 pieces produced.
