Description

This Dorbz-style figure represents a mail carrier version of a classic Hanna-Barbera character from the 1958 animated TV series The Huckleberry Hound Show. In that show, he’s the easygoing lead who drifts through different jobs and situations with a calm, friendly demeanor. The series is a well-known piece of early television animation.

The figure shows him smiling with closed eyes, wearing a light-blue mailman uniform with a black bow tie and three front buttons. He has black floppy ears, a tan muzzle, and a tall matching cap, with small hands held at his sides and a little white tag detail on one wrist. The Huckleberry Hound Show

The Huckleberry Hound Show is a 1958 syndicated animated series and the second from Hanna-Barbera following The Ruff & Reddy Show, sponsored by Kellogg's. Three segments were included in the program: one featuring Huckleberry Hound; another starring Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo Boo; and a third with Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks, two mice who in each short found a new way to outwit the cat Mr. Jinks.
