Description
Inside a gray phone booth with a bright blue “TELEPHONE” sign, Superman is shown mid-change in the 1978 film Superman, part of the Superman The Movie franchise. In that movie, he’s the mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent who becomes the costumed hero when trouble hits. The character is one of the most culturally recognizable superheroes in film and comics.
This POP! Deluxe (#558) places him in the booth with the door swung open, posed pulling his shirt apart to reveal the “S” shield underneath. He’s wearing black-framed glasses, a gray suit with a tie, and black shoes, with his tan coat draped back as he changes. A fedora sits on the floor beside him, and the booth interior has blue bench seating and window panels around him. No exclusive or limited sticker is visible on this release (2025).
