Description

This Dorbz figure shows a blue cartoon hound standing front-facing with a relaxed, closed-eye smile. It’s based on the character from the TV series The Huckleberry Hound Show (1958), part of Hanna-Barbera’s classic animation lineup. In the show, he’s the easygoing lead who anchors the short segments and comedy.

The sculpt has the rounded Dorbz proportions, with black floppy ears, a tan muzzle, and a small black nose. He’s dressed in a red uniform-style top with gold buttons, a black belt with a gold buckle, and matching red pants, topped with a wide-brimmed yellow hat with a black band. The Huckleberry Hound Show

The Huckleberry Hound Show is a 1958 syndicated animated series and the second from Hanna-Barbera following The Ruff & Reddy Show, sponsored by Kellogg's. Three segments were included in the program: one featuring Huckleberry Hound; another starring Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo Boo; and a third with Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks, two mice who in each short found a new way to outwit the cat Mr. Jinks.
